UC Precast - Gray is a fast setting non-chloride cement designed to meet the needs of the precast industry using Ultimax Cement technology. Its special formula is tailored to boost productivity by drastically reducing the set time, optimize equipment utilization, maximize labor resources, and increase bottom line profitability.
UC Precast - Gray is used in all concrete precast applications where mould removal could start within one hour after finishing. Concrete units are then immediately ready for next handling, processing, and shipping without delay. Steel inserts are safely used in UC Precast concrete system.

• In hot weather, set time will be shorter. UC Delay® will help to extend the setting time. One oz/100 lbs cement will extend set time by 10 minutes approximately.
• In cold weather normal set time will be achieved by using hot water.
All conventional mixing methods and procedures are equally applicable to UC Precast -Gray concrete system.
When using UC Delay, add it to aggregates and water before introducing cement to the mix.
No curing is required in normal conditions of temperature and humidity. Avoid excessive surface evaporation during the first 3 hrs after finishing..
Excessive water will seriously affect the quality of the concrete. When additional workability is needed use some water reducer to reach the desired workability. Keep water / cement ratio to 0.40 percent.
UC Precast - Gray is available in 88 lb bags, 40 bags on a pallet.
