UC Precast - Light is a fast setting non-chloride cement designed to meet the needs of light-colored precast industry using Ultimax Cement technology. Its special formula is tailored to boost productivity by drastically reduce the set time, optimize equipment utilization, maximize labor resources, and increase bottom line profitability.
UC Precast - Light is used in concrete precast application where light color concrete is required and mould removal could start within one hour after finishing. Concrete units could be handled and shipped next day. Since UC Precast - Light is non-chloride cement, steel inserts are safely used.

• In hot weather, set time will be shorter. UC Delay® will help to extend the setting time. One oz/100 lb of cement will extend the set time by 5 min. approximately.
• In cold weather desired set time will be achieved by using warm water.
All conventional mixing methods and procedures are equally applicable to UC Precast -Light concrete system.
When using UC Delay, add it to the water and aggregate before introducing cement to the mix.
No curing is required in normal conditions of temperature and humidity. Avoid excessive surface evaporation during the first 3 hours after finishing.
Excessive water will seriously affect the quality of the concrete. When additional workability is desired, use water reducer products. Keep water to cement ratio at 0.40 percent.
UC Precast - Light is available in 88 lb bags, 40 bags on a pallet.
